Coach Moreno has located game films from as far back as the 1956 season. These historic games were found in a storage closet under tons of debris. Many of these games show cheerleaders and band members as well as the football game itself. Others show homecoming parades and homecoming ceremonies. Coach Moreno has decided to preserve these 16mm films as best as possible by taking them from 16mm to mini-dv tapes and then to dvds. This is a tedious and time consuming process. Almost all of these videos are in good condition, however, some may not be perfect due to the age of the films themselves. As always, the skill of the person doing the video may vary. This is being done in order to make these dvds available for those who played for or attended Hillsboro during these times.
In the near future, we will post a list of all games available. Currently, we have identified approximately 132 games on 16mm films. These games date from 1956 to 1983. Once these have been converted to dvds, we may then be able to do the same project for games through the 1980s and 1990s.
If you know of anyone who attended Hillsboro as far back as 1956 and would like one of these dvds, please have them contact Coach Moreno at 615-300-6598.. You can click on the link above (Old Game Videos For Sale) to see the list of games available.
